Metrc is a completely web-hosted system. That means that all access to Metrc is done via the internet and only requires an internet connection; a HTML 5-compatible web browser; and a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet. No additional hardware is required, and there is no software to download, install, or maintain. Barcode and/or RFID readers are optional accessories that a licensee may choose to use. A decision to buy such additional equipment is made at the sole discretion of the individual licensee.
No. Licensees will only be able to access their own information through METRC. They will not be able see any information about any other licensee.
